VisiTour Pass Israel - Israel's Discount Tourist "Card"

Like most popular tourist destinations Israel also has a pass which covers several attractions and gives you discounts using a pass which requires a onetime payment. The VisiTour Pass in Israel is not really a Pass Card it is instead a booklet of discount coupons. It includes hotels, attractions, activities, tours and trips it doesn't include public transport discounts. As far as I know this is the only discount package available in Israel and if you are planning a visit to the Holy Land you should take a look at their site to decide if it is worth purchasing. If you are planning to stay at one of the Israeli hotels covered then the VisiTour Pass Israel is worth it as many of the discounts are "stay 2 nights get 3rd night free" type deals. If you are going to one of the attractions or taking part in the activities listed then the pass is worth every shekel.

Consider the fact that it doesn't cover all attractions in Israel so go through the list and just check it covers the things you are interested in. Also the VisiTour Pass Israel is a fantastic deal if you are traveling as a group or couple as many of the discounts are "buy-one-get-one-free" type discounts which would not be useful to single travelers.

A VisiTour Pass Israel costs $75 and if you have checked the list of discounted places and are sure you will be visiting them then it is more than worthwhile. For those on a budget the pass also covers hostels and budget accommodation and for those staying in boutique hotels there is the Little House in the Colony and the Little House in Bakah, Jerusalem. For nature lovers many of the discounts are for nature reserves and national parks. The Tower of David Museum, Jerusalem which is a must-see for most visitors to the city is also included in the discount booklet but like many of the discounts it is a "buy-one-get-one-free" deal so only useful if you are not traveling alone.
Check out VisiTour PassIsrael for some big savings on your next visit to Israel.

Where to get discounts on trips to Disneyland-Mousemisers.com

Having tried myself to research online a trip to Disneyland and found it not only confusing but also astronomically expensive I was happy to find this Disney discounts site – Mousemisers.com Although the landing page has a little too much on it (recent comments, poll, Disney categories, blogroll, and important article) luckily there is a list of the current Disney discounts at the top of the page so you can go straight to what interests you. You can also choose to see either Walt Disney World discounts; Disneyland discounts or Disney Cruise line discounts only. It is possible to search Mousemisers by category – Adventure by Disney, Aulani discounts, Disney tips etc.

Three major advantages to using Mousemisers stand out for me:

  • • Obviously the first one is that you can get real discounts on Disney related travel.
    • You get an immediate overview of what is on offer on the landing page where there is a list of " Current Disney Discounts".
You don't want to waste your time wading through endless canceled, removed, expired and unavailable Disney discounts so straight away you can see a summary of what is available and current.
Full details of the terms are given for each discount.
You don't get any surprises and you can tell straight away if you are eligible for the discount or if it is relevant to your trip. This detail includes current updates when deals and discounts have changed. The Disney discount details include sample prices; dates that are not available for discounts and Disney destinations that are not included in the offer. Even before you click through to the travel agent to use the discount you know the Disney discount's limitations and advantages.

  • Mousemisers are not travel agents so they are not pushing you to buy something. Although there is a large link on Mousemisers to the Mouseketrips travel agency which is the travel agent for Mousemisers the site is still service orientated and packed with information. The discounts on Mousemisers can be used with any travel agent.
    • As Mousemisers are not travel agents they are willing to chat, ask Mousemisers questions and help you figure out what Disney trip best suits you, also read other traveler's questions and the answers they received. I can't emphasis enough how important it is that Mousemisers is not a travel agent as you will get impartial information and not a sales pitch.

Useful travel info
The important articles on Mousemisers are not just there to fill up some space they really contain useful information for visitors to Disney destinations and are worth reading. Like the discount listings the articles have very thorough details.

The truth is there are not a lot of discounts available for Disney parks and cruises no matter which site you search on. However on Mousemisers the work has been done for you and all the Current Disney Discounts are collected together on one site as well as endless helpful information and advice about getting your trip to Disneyland, Walt Disney World or Disney Cruise Line at the cheapest possible price with discounts.
