The house was built in 1860 and since then has undergone extensive preservation and renovation, the house is a listed historic property and as such has protected status. A lot of love was put into bringing the house back to its former glory with many of the original features like ceiling mouldings in the ballroom and bohemian glass chandeliers. Each of the 9 rooms has its own personal touches and the décor has been inspired by local flowers. It is possible to add cots or single beds to the rooms for families and one of the rooms has a bath where as the others have standing showers.
